Quiz Night Success at the Memorial Hall!

On Saturday, 19 October, Bramcote Memorial Hall was filled with a lively crowd of around 70 participants for our annual Quiz Night. The event welcomed 10 teams to compete in a close and thrilling contest, with Gerald and Anne once again putting together a challenging but entertaining mix of questions.

The evening was packed with a variety of quiz rounds, ranging from general knowledge and music to more unconventional rounds like dingbats, anagrams, a picture round, numbers and letters, and more. Each question pushed teams to think on their feet and collaborate, making for a truly engaging night.

A break midway through allowed everyone to enjoy some delicious food, giving participants a chance to recharge and prepare for the second half. The energy in the room was high as each team brought their best to the competition.

In a close finish, scores were impressively high, with every team scoring over 90 points. After a fierce battle, two teams tied for second place with 108 points, while the night’s champions, Team DaNiBi, clinched the top spot with an impressive 110 points!

We’re pleased to report that the event was not only a fantastic social evening but also a boost to our funds. Thanks to the generosity of participants and supporters, the raffle was a great success, adding to the positive outcome of the night.
