We couldn’t run to a full-blown Light Night this year, but just illuminating the Tower on a dark winter’s night and lighting the pathway with lanterns is wonderfully atmospheric.

The rain held off and a hardy local audience gathered to listen to some evocative Tudor music from Raymond Wiseman and enjoy mince pies and a warming winter drink.

Thanks to everyone who came, and season’s greetings from all of us at the Tower.
