1st ‘Tea at the Tower’ of the new season.

Tea at the Tower – Sunday 10th May

Our thanks to everyone who braved the chilly winds and came to our first Tea at the Tower of the new season – always a landmark in the calendar. The sun shone, even if it wasn’t the warmest of May days, and it was lovely to discover that we now have a number of ‘regulars’ who have the dates in the diary and meet up with their friends.

On the menu this time was apple cake (which turned out to be the star bake), Irish Brack, coffee and walnut cake, chocolate cake, cheese scones, fruit cake and gingerbread. We enjoyed baking them as much as you enjoyed eating them, and look forward to welcoming you back for the next Tea at the Tower on Sunday 14 June, 11am – 3pm.
