Ivy and Carl were exited and ready to welcome fellow teddies, and their young owners, to the picnic.
Teddy Bears’ Picnic at the Tower
On Wednesday 20th August, Bramcote Old Church Tower came alive with teddies, blankets, and happy voices as we held our annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic. Nearly 50 children joined us for the afternoon, including a large group from Bramcote Nursery, each proudly accompanied by their favourite bear.
The Tower grounds were dotted with picnics and rugs, while families enjoyed hot and cold drinks between games and stories. The Beeston Players delighted everyone with lively storytelling, drawing the children in and keeping them captivated throughout, despite the cool breeze of the day.
The Teddy Bears’ Picnic has become a special tradition at the Tower — a chance for children to make memories in a magical setting, with their much-loved teddies right by their side. A heartfelt thank you goes to all the volunteers whose hard work made the afternoon such a success.
