The Strawberry Fayre: A Sweet Success!

Our annual Strawberry Fayre, held on Sunday, 14th July, proved to be a delightful and fruitful event for our community. The charming gathering at Bramcote Tower attracted an impressive turnout of 86 visitors, showcasing the event’s popularity and appeal.

The afternoon was filled with summer cheer as attendees enjoyed a variety of attractions. From the mouthwatering strawberry and cream teas to the diverse array of stalls and engaging children’s activities, there was something for everyone to savour. The weather cooperated beautifully, with the rain holding off and allowing guests to fully enjoy the picturesque grounds.

We are thrilled to announce that the Fayre was not only a social success but also a financial one. The refreshment sales were particularly successful, contributing the most to the overall total.  The remaining monies were generated through plant sales, merchandise and general contributions from our kind attendees.

This notable achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our volunteers and organisers. Their efforts in planning, setting up, and running the various aspects of the Fayre were instrumental in creating such a memorable experience for all.

The Strawberry Fayre once again proved to be a highlight of our summer calendar, bringing together friends, families, and neighbours for an afternoon of sweet indulgence and community spirit. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make this year’s event such a resounding success.

As we bask in the afterglow of this wonderful day, we’re already looking forward to next year’s Strawberry Fayre, where we hope to create even more delightful memories and continue this cherished tradition.
