Village Walk – A Tale of Two Churches

Join us on a gentle 1 mile stroll around Bramcote, beginning at Bramcote Old Church Tower, all that remains of the 13th century church, to its Victorian replacement, St Michael & All Angels. Learn about the transition of this small medieval village to thriving wealthy Victorian suburb through some of its interesting surviving historic buildings. Finish with refreshments hosted by Bramcote Old Church Tower Trust.

The walk will be predominately along level pavements, but Bramcote Old Church Tower is accessed by steps up a slope, so is not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties.

Also, don’t forget to wear flat-soled waterproof shoes or trainers and dress appropriately for the weather!
