Join us between 11am – 4pm for a fascinating insight into what Medieval Life could have been like at Bramcote Old Church Tower.
Thanks to the reenactors group, The Medieval Sokemen, we will have a small camp onsite with various demonstrations and talks.
We will have a medieval lady, to talk about aristocratic life and household medicine.
A cook to talk about and demonstrate medieval food. A monk to talk about religion, learning and writing.
A gaoler, to talk about crime and punishment.
A archer, to talk about the longbow and archery and a
knight, who will demonstrate at 12 noon and 2:30pm the ‘arming of the knight’ – how to put on a suit of armour, as well as a talk more generally on arms and armour between demonstrations.
Refreshments will be available on site.
