Heritage Open Day

Visit Bramcote Old Church Tower site, learn about the heritage with our new interpretation plus take part in talks, tours and mini workshops throughout the day.

Bramcote Old Church Tower has under gone a complete transformation over the past couple of years thanks to a Heritage Fund grant. The Tower has been restored, we have had new facilities on site and our grounds have been carefully maintained. New interpretation onsite enables visitors to learn more about the site and new digital interpretation to show how the church could have looked will be available on our website. Our Heritage Open Day event is a chance for everyone to see the transformation that has taken place, try their hand at various heritage based workshops, such as Lime pointing, needlework/felting and willow sculptures, and learn more about the heritage of surrounding area in a guided tour. There’s no need to book for entry to the site or any of the workshops or tours, just turn up and have a go!

Access: There are 4 steps up to the site, which can be accessed by lifting pushchairs but not wheelchair accessible.

Max 30 people per tour/session. 1 hour There is no parking onsite but various places to park within the village. Please see our website for further details.
